The Feng Shui Well, also known as the Well God, is located on the side of Fu Shan Street and Chong Tak Street in Tai Po. It is inconspicuous and hidden next to the shops. However, this well was once the source of life in Tai Po District. At that time, it even witnessed the "Tai Wo City" ” was established. The Qiyue Feng Shui Well has a history of more than 120 years. It was built by "Tai Po Qiyue" to solve the water shortage problem of merchants and residents in the "Tai Wo City" market. Next to the well, there is a small altar dedicated to the "Well God", and the stone tablet outside the well explains the history of Taihe City and Qiyue Feng Shui Well. Today, the Qiyue Feng Shui Well, under the care of the Qiyue Township Office in Tai Po, has been locked and "sealed" and can no longer be used to draw water. As for the Seven Villages, they refer to the seven villages or areas in Tai Po District, including Tai Hang Village, Lam Tsuen Village, Kee Wo Village, Kit Wo Village (i.e. Sha Lo Tung), Cheung Shue Tan Village, Ting Kok Village, and Fanling Village.
