In Chinese society, the most important thing is intention, and the most important thing in doing anything is "blessing." However, the reality is that there are always people who "don't know how to be blessed despite being blessed." The situation is just like what happened to the protagonist "Ah Fen" when a wife murder case occurred in "You Fook Garden" on Tanner Road in 1991.
Ah Fen (full name Ng Lifen) married from the Mainland to Hong Kong many years ago. She lives with her husband Ahan (Chen Guanghan) and several children in a unit on the 44th floor of No. 50-6 Yau Fook Garden, Tanner Road, North Point.
Although Ahan's family is not wealthy, they still have three meals a day to eat. To support his family, he works two jobs a day, working up to 15 hours. As the saying goes, "A needle has no benefit at both ends." They made more money, but the relationship between husband and wife gradually faded.
At the same time, Ah Fen unfortunately made a bad friend by mistake: Mrs. Zhu (pseudonym). On the surface, Mrs. Zhu is just an ordinary nurse, but she is actually a middleman (i.e., a "pimp") who helps the prostitution syndicate manage the prostitute business. Zhu Tai took advantage of Fen's empty heart and launched a silver bullet attack on her, packaging it with sweet words. Ah Fen was accidentally deceived and resolutely "went into the sea" to become a prostitute. From then on, she embarked on a road of no return.
After Ah Fen went astray, her temperament changed drastically. She was obsessed with money and began to look down on Han. Later, she fell in love with a wealthy uncle, and in order to get a "good dock", she filed for divorce from her husband on July 7, and threatened to take her children back to her hometown and find someone else to take care of them. After Ahan heard this, Wuming became angry and the two started fighting. In anger, Ahan accidentally killed Afen by mistake.
Ah Han knew that he had made a big mistake. He knew that he would not be able to escape the law, but he was worried that his children would become orphans, so he took his children to a relative's home. After entrusting the other party to take care of him, he surrendered to the police station.
On July 7, Ahan was charged with murder. The case was brought up in the Eastern Magistrates' Court and was later transferred to the High Court. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter in court. In November of the same year, the case was concluded and Chen Guanghan was sentenced to 19 years in prison.
Returning to the scene of the murder, Dana Road today is almost unrecognizable. The only thing that remains unchanged is that the environment remains peaceful and comfortable.
If you are looking for something new here, it is recommended that you walk along Qi Sisters Road towards Quarry Bay. At the junction of Qi Sisters Road and Jiankang West Street, you will see a "Gem Building" with a very eye-catching exterior color. I believe it will Make you feel fresh and new.
The reason why the design of Baoshi Building is unique is that it was designed by the late famous architect Fan Wenzhao. After checking the information, we found that there are many important buildings in Hong Kong, such as Kowloon Ling Liang Church, Fanling British Army Church, Kwun Tong Yindu Cinema, Tai Po Road Songpo, Chung Chi College (currently only Ying Lam Hall and Wah Lin Hall dormitories remain, The remaining parts designed by Fan have been rebuilt) and the Xian Shi Department Store Building in Central, etc., were originally designed by this master.
