Located next to the Kwun Tong Bypass, the "Kwun Tong Promenade Garden" with a total area of more than four hectares was formerly the Kwun Tong Public Cargo Working Area. The park's "simulated crane tower" and the art installation of waste paper bundles inspired by the waste paper recycling industry can evoke memories of the loading and unloading areas of the past.
The "Seaside Trail" in the park is about one kilometer long. Visitors can not only enjoy the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal up close, but also overlook the bright night view of the east side of Hong Kong Island, and have a panoramic view of Victoria Harbor and Lei Yue Mun.
In addition, the landscaped area features a spray water feature with special lighting and sound effects. After nightfall, the seaside tree paths and characteristic towers dance with light and shadow, matching the water mist on the ground and the colorful colors reflected by the street lights. Three new interactive water play areas have been added to the park. Each water play area is equipped with a sensor device. When it senses someone approaching, different types of nozzles will spray water columns of different shapes. If parents go with their children, remember to bring extra clothes.
